Our Story
Dr. Imdadul Huq was born into a lower middle class family in a small rule of village in bangladesh. He was the first in his family to pursue higher education and move out of their poor village to the main city of taka bangladesh. He eventually received a PhD from the University of Maryland college Park and became a well-known scientist and philanthropist. Throughout his life Dr hawk never forgot about his roots and humble beginnings. He opened the first primary and all girls school in the village in 1985. 6 months before he passed away in 1993 he took his elder son cycle and showed him all of these different philanthropic projects He was engaged in. He asked saiful not to forget about the people in need or the importance of education
Since then Dr Huq’s family has continued to support his projects in Bangladesh and in 2007 they established hawk foundation. The foundation has since then expanded its work to the Us and other parts of the world.
Huq’s Foundation DBA education for humanity received its 501c3 non not for profit status in May 2007. It was established in collaboration with friends and family in Southern California with a vision for education for all. Our organization exists solely because of the generosity of sponsors like you. The donations we receive allow us to provide families and institutions with tuition, books, and school supplies. We also request your pertinent suggestions and advice that help us move forward in this endeavor.
