Imdadul Huq Memorial College, Gopalgang, Bangladesh

Dr. Imdadul Huq Memorial College is located in the city of Bashbaria, Gopalgong, Bangladesh. The College facilitates students from 11th to 12th grade and 2 years of Associate bachelor’s degree program in Social Sciences, Commerce and Humanities. The institution housed 383 students and it is continuing to grow. It is the 2nd largest Degree College in Gopalgong district in Bangladesh. Huq Foundation USA has given need-based as well as a merit-based scholarship called “Dr. Imdadul Huq Memorial Scholarship'' to the Grade 11 and 12 students for books and supplies. Students who have obtained a G.P.A of 4.00-4.49 in the S.S.C level get 1,000 Taka per year, students who have obtained a G.P.A of 4.50-4.99 will get 2,500 Taka per year, and students who have obtained a G.P.A of 5.00 will get 5,000 Taka per year.  A list of students for each year is selected by the College Board of Directors and approved by the School Principal and Huq Foundation Leadership. The total Annual donation is 1,20,000 Taka or $1,482 per year and this is an Annual ongoing project.
