Nural Haq Govt. Primary School, Gopalgang, Bangladesh (1st to 5th Grade)

Nurul Huq Elementary School is located in the city of Bashbaria, Gopalgong, Bangladesh, and is one of the only elementary schools in the region. Huq Foundation USA has given need-based as well as a merit-based scholarships called “Dr. Imdadul Huq Memorial Scholarship''. Students with a G.P.A of 4.00-4.49 are given 2,000 Taka per year, students with a G.P.A of 4.50-4.99 will get 3,000 Taka per year, and students with a G.P.A of 5.00 will get 4,000 Taka per year. 10 students per grade level, totaling 50 students at an annual cost of  1,500,000 Takka ($1,875) annually. The scholarship program was started in 2012 and is still one of the main current projects.
